They say business isn’t personal, but in my case, it is (in the best way possible!). 

A bit about me—I started my business because I wanted to share my passion for soapmaking with the world! I love creating new and interesting colours, swirls and scents. A feast for the eyes and the nose, I guess you could say. 

I am originally from South Western Nova Scotia, and moved to Nanaimo British Columbia in 2005, where I have worked as an accountant ever since. I am married, have an adult daughter, and we have cats. 
 

I started making my own cold processed soaps because I'd tried so many different ones from local makers, makers on YouTube, and small makers I saw online. They "all" made me feel dry and itchy after a few uses. I figured it just wasn't that great after all and I was wasting my money.

 

After a few years, I really wanted to try again. I started researching, started reading labels, and came to some conclusions.

Most makers were probably using too much coconut oil for dry or sensitive skin types, along with no luxury ingredients (no shade, just the act of making soap and cosmetics is a luxury!). But for me it meant no one made a soap gentle enough for my skin.

​

So I developed a soap formula that uses a blend of luxury oils and butters, along with clays and goat's milk. I really ramped up that gentle but luxurious skin feel. And my skin was no longer itchy after a shower!

I want you to have an amazing experience when you use my skincare line, So I've taken those ideals I had for my own routine and applied them to all my products and formulas, adding luxurious active ingredients to my lotions, serums, creams, lip butters, bath bombs, shampoos, conditioners and even deodorants!

This is what sets me apart from those other brands. You just need to read the label and you'll see. 

 

I use luxury oils, butters and active ingredients you generally don't see in those other brands. Things like goat's milk, hemp seed oil, argan, rosehip, and jojoba oil, cocoa, mango, and shea butter. 

 

Active ingredients like fruit and botanical extracts, vitamins and proteins like DL-Panthenol B5, niacinamide B3, silk amino acids, and hydration boosters like hyaluronic acid, and allatoin to name just a few.

I believe my focus on quality, luxury ingredients in all my product lines (not just soap) really sets me apart in the local market, and once you try my products, you too will notice the difference.
